Can I schedule an in-person visit?

You text us, we text you back—immediately. We do not offer in-person visits.

Does Poppy Seed Health replace my medical provider?

Poppy Seed Health gives you 24/7 access to the support of our network of doulas, midwives and nurses. We do not provide medical advice, perform medical procedures or give diagnoses. Check out our medical advisory for more information.

What types of questions can I ask?

Think of us as your pregnancy and postpartum best friend who has been through it all and has the experience and know-how to support whatever you’re facing on your journey. There is no subject that’s off-limits or too taboo. Spotting? We can help with that. Constipation? We can help with that too. Anxiety about carrying another little human? We got you.

Who are your advocates?

Our doulas, midwives and nurses are certified and licensed. They are all Poppy approved and have agreed to the Poppy Principles to deliver the kind of radical empathy that we promise.

How quickly can I expect a response?

Within minutes.

Do you take insurance?

Poppy Seed Health is an out-of-pocket cost that is currently not covered by health insurance but we believe it should be which is why we’re working hard on changing that.

How much does Poppy Seed Health cost?

After a 2-day free trial, membership is $29/month.

Are my questions/conversations confidential?

What’s the difference between a midwife and a doula?

There are two significant differences between midwives and doulas. A midwife can be your primary care provider through pregnancy and postpartum and can deliver babies vaginally. Doulas are emotional support coaches focused on the birthing person or postpartum parent and baby. Doulas cannot provide medical advice, administer medication or make diagnoses.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel your membership at any time, with no penalties.
